Patients don't track symptoms

MOST people do not monitor their health problems, making it more difficult for doctors to diagnose them, according to a new survey.

A UK-wide poll found 64% of patients fail to record their symptoms before visiting their GP and 61% are as likely to consult the internet as they are their doctor.

Charity Young Epilepsy, which is dedicated to sufferers of the condition under the age of 25, commissioned One Poll to interview 1000 people for the research.
