'The fresh air is really therapeutic'

Laura Simm, from Lochwinnoch in Renfrewshire, was 43 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003.

She was a full-time mother to her two children when her decade-long battle against the disease began.

Two weeks ago she was finally able to give up medication completely and, although she will still have to attend hospital for occasional checks, she has been given the all-clear.
