A THIRD man has died following the Legionnaires' disease outbreak in Edinburgh.

The victim, who was in his 60s, was from the south-west of the city where the disease is thought to have originated from cooling towers.

The Scottish Government said the man had been unwell for a period of time and is considered to be part of the original outbreak.
