£1000 worth of turkeys stolen

POLICE are hunting thieves who stole luxury Christmas turkeys worth more than £1000 from a butcher.

The turkeys - which cost between £86 and £114 each - were stolen from a cold store in Aberdeen on Friday night. The birds belonged to family-run Davidson's Butchers from Inverurie, Aberdeenshire.
