HUMAN remains discovered in a shallow grave in Perthshire are those of lorry driver Adam Alexander, it has been confirmed.

The procurator-fiscal in Perth delivered the news to his mother Tricia Bremner yesterday, confirming that the 13-year search for her son is over.

Mr Alexander's body was hidden in Errol in the Carse of Gowrie in November 1999 after Thomas Pryde killed him with a metal pole.
