53% of Scots are happy with SNP's running of country

More than half the population is satisfied with the way the Scottish Government is running the country, a study suggests.

As the SNP gathers in Inverness for its spring conference, starting tomorrow, its leadership scored 53% approval, down one point since October.

The proportion dissatisfied increased by two points to 41%, giving a net approval rating of 12 points, according to a survey by Ipsos Mori.
