7/7 survivor fulfils a dream

THE NUMBER seven has taken on extra significance for London terrorist bombing survivor Martine Wright, who has fulfilled her dream of representing her country at the Paralympics.

Seven years and seven weeks after being pulled from the wreckage of a blown-up Tube train at Aldgate on the seventh day of the seventh month in 2005, the brave athlete proudly wore a number seven shirt to play for Great Britain's first Paralympic volleyball team.
