Mitch Storey, foundryman at Powderhall Bronze in Edinburgh, brushes up sheep sculptures before they are transported to Lockerbie later this week.
The sheep, the work of Fife sculptor David Annand, will take up residence outside the town hall. They are the latest development in Dumfries and Galloway's £1 million regeneration masterplan for the town. The council also has plans to upgrade Gretna and Annan .
