The A9 was closed in both directions at the Grainish junction as emergency staff cut at least one person out of a car following the accident at around 6pm yesterday evening.

A9 shut for three hours after crash
PART of Scotland's longest road was closed for three hours after a two-vehicle crash near Aviemore.
