Aberdeen plans begging bylaw

BEGGING could be outlawed in Aberdeen after the city council voted to proceed to the next stage of introducing a bylaw against the practice.

However, the move was criticised by councillor Martin Greig who said it would be counterproductive to introduce an "unenforceable law" after the failure of anti-begging laws south of the Border.
