Anger at meeting on future of Fringe

Anger, confusion and dismay surrounded the Edinburgh Festival Fringe yesterday, as proposals to change the way it is run were debated in public for the first time.

The Festival Fringe Society, which runs the event, held an open meeting at one of its largest venues, McEwan Hall, in order to debate how it is run, and how it plans to organise the festival in the future.
