Arrest over alleged sex attack on four-year-old

POLICE have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with an alleged sexual assault on a four-year-old boy in a supermarket in West Dunbartonshire.

Officers were called to the Asda store in Britannia Way, Clydebank, near the busy Clyde Shopping Centre, at about 2pm last Tuesday following a report of a sexual assault on a child.

The boy is believed to have gone to the toilet by himself and was then attacked. He told his mother about what had happened when he returned.
