Art goes bananas

ARTIST Ting Tong Chang puts the finishing touches to Bananas, a sculpture that forms part of his exhibition in Edinburgh.

The show, which takes inspiration from Hugo Chavez's failed coup d'etat, was born out of Chang's residency at the Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop. Chang, who was born in Taiwan, was chosen from a large number of international applicants for the residency as part of this year's Creative Initiative Award.

His exhibition is at Minto House on Chambers Street and runs until August 8.
