RAY OF LIGHT: Construction work at the £50 million Glasgow School of Art at the Garnethill Campus is continuing apace, with three huge concrete cylinders which will draw light into the building now visible

The three "driven voids of light" are cylindrical structures that will allow natural light to permeate through the new building.
The concrete shafts are now clearly visible at the construction site at the Garnethill campus, which is being worked on by main contractor Sir Robert McAlpine.
