Art trove found after death of the Scots Mr Chips

WHEN he died, his pupils said they had lost their very own Mr Chips.

Bill Alston has been described by his colleagues and pupils as the most beloved teacher in the country. Now, his family are trying to identify the former pupils the Strathaven Academy art teacher immortalised in the hundreds of newly discovered paintings he left behind.
