Artistic sights ... and sounds

ARTIST Louise McVey adds the finishing touches to two ceramic sculptures at her new show at Glasgow's Kibble Palace.

McVey, who is based in Dennistoun, Glasgow, created the works for the Utopian Visions Exhibition, which explores ideas of a perfect world. The sculptures emit a recorded "vocal soundscape" created and performed by the artist. who said she was inspired by parallel between the late Victorian era and today.

The exhibition is free and runs from May 17 to 25.
