Artworks held in high regard

PUPILS at Flora Stevenson's Primary School hold up a work that will be displayed in the Edinburgh school as part of an international project to inspire the next generation of artists.

The school is the only one in Scotland selected for the Art Sparks Learning programme, for which the youngsters chose 18 of their favourite artworks for display in their school. Among the selection was a nod to the city's zoo with Panda Pop Art; Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh; and a canvas by Susan Brown entitled Tenements, Edinburgh. Picture: Gordon Terris
