GHOSTBUSTERS star Dan Aykroyd has unveiled his plans to take the franchise in a whole new direction, with multiple spin-offs on the big and small screen.
There have been reports that Ghostbusters III will take the form of a reboot featuring an all-female team of spook-catchers.
He said: "The whole vehicle of Ghostbusters has to be rebuilt. That's the ambitious thinking that's going on now."
