The bank, one of the major corporate firms to back the event, is to cease sponsoring the fireworks after this year’s event in September.
It has supported the concert, which is performed by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, for the last 16 years.

The Bank of Scotland is to end its long-running sponsorship of the popular annual fireworks concert at the Edinburgh International Festival as its parent company prepares to axe 650 jobs across the UK.
