FORMER Olympic skier Alain Baxter is to become a patron of a skiing charity.
Baxter, who was controversially stripped of his Olympic bronze medal in the slalom at Salt Lake City in 2002, will take up the role with Ski 4 Cancer, which provides alpine holidays for British families affected by the disease.
