DAVID BECKHAM has topped a list of the 50 richest football players in the world with a fortune of £175 million.
The former England captain, who recently signed for Paris Saint-Germain and is donating his salary to a local children's charity, is followed in second place by Barcelona's Lionel Messi on £115.5m, with Cristiano Ronaldo in third spot with £112m.
