Bellamy works under hammer

AN auction house worker takes time out to admire John Bellamy's Woman Of The Sea before it goes under the hammer.

The painting is expected to fetch from £4000 to £6000 at Lyon & Turnbull's event in Edinburgh on February 13. It is among a collection, including works by George Leslie Hunter – one of which is valued at £30,000 – among stock being sold following the closure of St Andrew Fine Art, one of Scotland's best-known east coast art galleries.
