Bid to cut accidents on the A9

A NEW system to improve safety has been put in place on one of Scotland's deadliest roads.

It is hoped the new system on the A9, with live road signs giving up-to-date traffic information and journey times, will reduce the number of accidents.

Transport Scotland believes the Journey Time System, between Stirling and Inverness, will improve road safety by helping drivers to plan their journeys.
