Big energy companies face fines over sales methods

The Ofgem inquiry into ScottishPower and Scottish and Southern Energy, as well as npower and EDF Energy, was launched after the regulator received reports that the four suppliers could be breaching their obligations governing door-to-door and telephone sales.
