A motorcyclist in his 60s has been killed in a collision with a steamroller on a notorious bend.
The crash occurred on the A93 route at Devil's Elbow near Glenshee in Perthshire.
Police said the male motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
The road has been closed to allow investigators to attend the scene.
Officers have appealed for witnesses to the collision which happened at around 2.40pm today.
The road leads up to the UK's highest main road, the Cairnwell Pass.
