WORKERS at the Tunnock's biscuit factory are to be treated to a meal out by their boss to celebrate his 80th birthday.
Generous Boyd Tunnock, whose milestone birthday was on January 25, is taking his entire 500-strong workforce to the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow to mark the occasion on April 20.
Mr Tunnock said: "The party is my way of saying thank you to the staff for helping me build the business and keeping me going to 80 – and onwards.
