Blaze in building closes city roads

SEVERAL roads were closed in the centre of Aberdeen last night after a fire broke out at a deserted building.

The blaze started at a building on Maberly Street at around 7pm and five fire appliances fought back the flames for more than two hours. There were no casualties.
