A BUSINESSMAN has been found dead in a freezer at his home.

The body of Colin Machin was discovered at a property in Alva, Clackmannanshire, on June 25.

Police say inquiries into the "unexplained" death are ongoing."

Mr Machin was an architect who also ran Boll Holiday Cottages with his wife.

Mr Machin's daughter, Erin, changed her Facebook profile picture to one showing her with her father, it has been reported. She also posted lyrics from the song Caledonia, writing: "Let me tell you that I love you. And I think about you all the time."

Friends paid tribute to him on her Facebook page.

Kevin Hogg wrote: "Such a great guy with a huge heart, so sad to have lost a great friend."
