A tower block was been evacuated after bomb disposal crews were called to investigate the discovery of "suspicious items".
Fidra Court, in the Muirhouse area of Edinburgh, was evacuated last night.
Residents were later allowed back into their homes shortly after 3am.
Police Scotland said inquires will continue.
