Boy stopped by men in car

A nine-year-old boy was approached by two men who asked him to get in their car, police said.

The child was on his way home from school on his scooter when the black vehicle pulled up next to him on Baberton Mains Hill in Edinburgh.

He refused to get in the car and ran home. The incident took place on Friday at around 12.15pm. Officers from Lothian and Borders Police are trying to trace the men. CCTV footage is being reviewed and police have increased patrols.
