Joel Taylor, 15, was awarded an undisclosed sum of cash after his father Leslie Taylor, 41, died in the Super Puma accident.
All 14 offshore workers and the two pilots on board died when the Bond-operated aircraft crashed into the sea off Fraserburgh.
