Brad Pitt’s zombies invade Glasgow

IT'S not the most dramatic start to a mass invasion by zombies.

Far from manning the barricades, Glasgow is welcoming the onslaught as an opportunity to showcase the city as the perfect site for blockbuster film-making. By Judith Duffy

Notices stuck to traffic lights and cables being strung up across a street are the only clues that the centre of Scotland’s biggest city is about to be turned into a huge film set, with around 1200 cast and crew descending this week for the shooting of part of the £80 million zombie epic World War Z.
