MOORS murderer Ian Brady has been re-admitted to a general hospital for a review of his condition after breaking two bones in a fall.

The 76-year-old child killer, who was born in Glasgow, was treated earlier this week following an incident at high-security Ashworth Hospital in Merseyside, where he is a patient.

It was reported he was taken to Aintree University Hospital under police guard.

He returned to his ward at Ashworth but was transferred again yesterday.

A spokeswoman for Ashworth Hospital said: "Ian Brady, aged 76, was re-admitted to a general hospital this morning.

"The admission this morning will involve a review of his condition and any further treatment."

Brady, who murdered five children in the 1960s with his lover Myra Hindley, was jailed for life in 1966.
