Broadcaster John Milne dies aged 72

Former BBC Scotland broadcaster John Milne has died at the age of 72.

Mr Milne, from Dundee, presented shows including Good Morning Scotland, Reporting Scotland and Newsnight Scotland during his almost 40 year career at the Corporation. He retired in 2007.

Graham Spiers tweeted: "Very sad to hear of death of John Milne: a really fine Scottish broadcaster."
