THE opening and closing ceremonies of the London Olympics pulled in more than 24 million TV viewers, official figures show.
Danny Boyle's extravaganza, featuring a celebrity-studded history of Britain, and the closing ceremony, which treated viewers to a dose of the country's musical history, helped BBC One achieve nine of the top 10 most watched shows of 2012.
