A REVOLUTIONARY breast cancer drug should be made available to sufferers in Scotland as soon as possible, campaigners have said.
Everolimus could help prolong the lives of thousands of patients suffering from advanced breast cancer in one of the biggest advances in the treatment of the incurable disease in recent years. Audrey Birt, of Breakthrough Breast Cancer Scotland, said: "This drug could make a massive difference to thousands of patients with advanced breast cancer."
