THE FORMER caretaker for Jimmy Savile's Glencoe cottage has called for the historic home to be saved – and gifted to the area's mountain rescue team.
After allegations of the broadcaster's catalogue of sexual abuse emerged, the plans to turn the home, Allt na Reigh, into a disabled respite centre fell through.
The property was targeted by vandals and calls were made to knock the home down.
