Calling the tunes: Mod attracting even younger performers

It is the century-old annual festival of Gaelic culture, music, language and art – and it is getting younger and younger.

Despite being a bastion of tradition and boasting a 117-year-old history, new figures show that the Royal National Mod, has become more and more attractive to young people, with children nearly doubling their attendance in the past 10 years.
