Capaldi's Musketeers mishap

NEW Doctor Who Peter Capaldi may have given up his role as The Thick of It's Spin Doctor Malcolm Tucker, but he has not shrugged off the character's reputation for getting in scrapes.

The actor, pictured on the first full day in the studio of the new series, dislocated a thumb following an on-set accident in TV role - after getting tangled in a frock while filming his new BBC drama The Musketeers. Capaldi had to twist the injured digit back into place, leaving him weak at the knees with pain.
