Napier University students play the parts of Jekyll and Hyde to drum up support for Robert Louis Stevenson (RLS) Day.

Events in the city's Old Town on November 13, will mark the life and work of the Edinburgh-born writer, who is often remembered only as a children's author.

The celebration, in its third year, is organised by Edinburgh Napier University's Centre for Literature and Writing and Edinburgh Unesco City of Literature. Ali Bowden, director of Edinburgh Unesco City of Literature Trust, said: "RLS Day is our opportunity to raise a glass to one of our greatest writers and from its small beginnings in 2011, the event has grown into a city-wide celebration."
