Capital property boost

PARENTS of Asian university students coming to the UK are among those helping to boost Scotland's luxury property market with one major development selling 34 flats worth a total of £10 million after a Far East sales push.

Gladedale Capital, owners of Quartermile at the Meadows in Edinburgh – the former Edinburgh Royal Infirmary – said the sales came after it held week-long exhibitions in Hong Kong and Singapore.

New Meadows is the next building to be released.
