Celtic have been fined £7,500 by UEFA for crowd disturbances at Europa League match with Dinamo Zagreb.

European football's governing body held disciplinary proceedings against the Parkhead club following allegations of "inappropriate behaviour" by travelling fans at the game in Croatia.

A red flare was lit at the Celtic end of the stadium during the match, which took place in December.

The punishment marks the fifth time in just over three years UEFA have taken action against Celtic.

Hoops fans have been warned before about the use of fireworks and flares.

In 2012, the club was fined £21,000 for setting off fireworks and displaying an offensive banner in a game against Udinese.
