THE Scottish arts world reacted with caution yesterday to a six-month extension of funding to 49 Scottish arts companies by Creative Scotland.
On Tuesday the funding body announced that it was changing tack on a controversial funding decision.
It plans to give the companies extra guaranteed funding until September next year to allow them more time to apply for Lottery project funding and for Creative Scotland to complete key reviews of each arts sector.
