Charity cyclist in crash tragedy

A cyclist who was killed in a road traffic accident has been named as a father-of-three taking part in a charity cycle ride.

Christian Smith, in his 30s, was riding to Whitstable, Kent, when he was in collision with a blue Peugeot 206 on the A2990 on Saturday. The 18-year-old female driver was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and causing death by dangerous driving.
