A CHARITY single inspired by teenage cancer victim Stephen Sutton looks set to storm the charts this weekend.

Hope Ain't A Bad Thing by The Neon Brotherhood has sold thousands of copies in less than 48 hours since it was released, according to midweek sales figures from the Official Charts Company.

The charity single is currently sitting at number five in the charts, just behind Secondcity's I Wanna Feel and Waves by Mr Probz.

Sutton raised millions of pounds for the Teenage Cancer Trust before his death on May 14 aged 19.

Profits from the sale of the song will go to the charity.
