The Free Church said it was supporting the Catholic Church’s opposition to the Scottish Government’s consultation on same-sex marriage and “applauded” the stance taken by the faith group.
The Commission of Assembly of the Free Church of Scotland said the “timeless institution of marriage” would be permanently undermined if the Government effectively changes its meaning to include same sex couple.
