Claim speed camera van had expired MOT

If this proves to be true, drivers caught during the "illegal" period could present a case for not paying their speeding fine.

Ian MacColl, a former police officer from Fort William, accused his ex-colleagues yesterday of "shocking hypocrisy" after claiming the Northern Safety Camera Partnership van had an out-of-date test certificate for six weeks.
