A BANK CLERK has gone on trial accused of embezzling nearly £25,000 from an after-school children's club.

Margaret Harms, 48, was the treasurer of the East Neuk Kids After School Club, in Anstruther, Fife, when, it is alleged, she embezzled £24,168.55.
Ms Harms, who was employed as a teller at Lloyds TSB in Anstruther at the time, is accused of taking the money during a two-year period between October 2008 and January 2010.
