CHELSEA CLINTON is to praise the work of a charity on a visit to Scotland this week.
The daughter of former US president Bill Clinton will be a guest at the People's Postcode Lottery's charity gala at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh tomorrow.
The charity is to support international causes for the first time this year with a focus on partnerships bet-ween the UK and Africa.
Ms Clinton, who is vice president of The Clinton Foundation, will speak at the event and discuss her time working at Anchor Farm in Malawi.
The postcode lottery is to award £500,000 to the Clinton Foundation project which aims to support the growth of the country's farming communities, which improve health and protect the environment.
More than 20,000 farmers have already received training and support in the project, the postcode lottery said.
Ms Clinton, 33, said: "People's Postcode Lottery has been a steadfast partner of the Clinton Foundation in its work around the globe, helping people live their best life story.
"The charity gala is a wonderful opportunity to share the great work we have done together and talk about the exciting work ahead."
The Clinton Foundation was established in 2001 at the end of Mr Clinton's presidency.
People's Postcode Lottery director Annemiek Hoogenboom said: "Welcoming Chelsea Clinton to address our charity gala is an honour."
