Music fans packed a popular Glasgow venue yesterday as local bands paid tribute to those who died in the Clutha bar tragedy earlier this month.

Among the acts who appeared on the bill at the O2 ABC in Sauchiehall Street were Them Beatles, The Underground Jam and The Shiverin' Sheiks. Resident Clutha country rock band Cahoots also took to the stage alongside Glasgow rock bands The Black Triangles and The Halos.

Over the last few decades The Clutha had a carved a reputation as a popular music venue in Glasgow.

It was during one of its regular gig nights that a police helicopter crashed into the roof of the pub.
